Linking Thousands of Human Service Agencies

NADAP’s “New York, New York” Annual Luncheon

NADAP held its annual “New York, New York” Luncheon at the Essex House on April 30, 2008.  This year’s honoree was David Slackman, Founding President of Commerce Bank for the NYC Market.  Slackman was presented with the Lewis Rudin Award, which honors him as an individual who consistently contributes to the fabric of our city through leadership, civic virtue and innovative economic solutions.

The Spirit of NADAP Awards were presented to four well-deserving program participants in recognition of their accomplishments over the past year.  Many luncheon attendees were visibly moved by the speeches the recipients made upon receiving their awards.

Emmy Award-winning journalist Bill Ritter was the Master of Ceremonies for this year’s event, which included a silent auction offering everything from signed sports memorabilia to a family vacation in Florida.

All the proceeds raised from this event go directly to support NADAP’s ongoing programs and enable NADAP to provide services to more individuals throughout New York City and Westchester County.
