Michael Ostroff has been appointed Chief Development Officer at F∙E∙G∙S Health and Human Services System. Ostroff will have responsibility for overseeing the Agency’s private and corporate philanthropic development efforts.

Ostroff has over 30 years experience as a senior development executive. Prior to joining F∙E∙G∙S, Ostroff was Founder and President of The Ostroff Group, Inc., a national consulting firm in development, fundraising, strategic planning, and marketing whose clients included a broad range of human service, educational, cultural and Jewish communal organizations. Ostroff also served as Executive Vice President of the South Palm Beach County Jewish Federation; Campaign Director of Allied Jewish Community Services in Montreal, and held fundraising positions with Jewish federations in Rochester, NY, Union County, NJ, and Cleveland, Ohio.

“We are pleased to welcome someone with Michael’s background and experience as part of our executive team,” said Gail A. Magaliff, Chief Executive Officer of F∙E∙G∙S. “At a time when so many community needs must be addressed, the need to raise and leverage private, philanthropic, foundation, corporate, and government resources has never been greater.”

Ostroff holds an M.S. in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University, a B.A. in Social Welfare from Pennsylvania State University, and an Honorary Doctorate and Certificate in Jewish Communal Service from Hebrew Union College. He is also a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE).
