Lis Goris New Chief Financial Officer at Orange AHRC PDF Print E-mail

Lis Goris has been hired as the new Chief Financial officer at Orange AHRC.  Goris comes to AHRC with a wealth of experience in the financial field, especially as a leader in several non-profit organizations.

Goris  began her career in finance with MBD Community Housing Corp., redesigning the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions by using technology. She also taught computer courses in the Job Development Center. From there, Goris became assistant controller at the Federation of Multi-Cultural Programs- New York, being promoted to fiscal director and leading that organization to financial stability. She moved on to FMCP-NJ in order to remediate problems with regulatory requirements, and by applying her extensive knowledge of financial systems, had an immediate positive impact on the Agency.

Goris received her BA in Accounting from City University and has also been nominated for the CFO of the Year award by NJBIZ, a leading business periodical.  She resides in Westchester with her daughter and is a welcome addition to the Orange AHRC Executive Team.
