Helen Keller Services for the Blind unveiled its new logo this week, from a blue dash symbolizing wings to a figure with outstretched arms in the middle of their name.

“Our new corporate identity reflects the ongoing evolution of Helen Keller Services for the Blind as we make strides in reaching out to more individuals in need of our services,” said President & CEO Thomas J.Edwards.  “Our mission has always been about helping blind and visually impaired individuals achieve independence and participate actively in their communities.”

Founded in 1893, Helen Keller Services for the Blind helps individuals of all ages who are blind or visually impaired and has offices in Brooklyn, Hempstead and Huntington and oversees the Helen Keller National Center for Deaf-Blind Youths and Adults in Sands Point.
